Hi,

Can anybody tell me whether I should show the proof of funds in my name as a primary applicant or it can be on my dependent?

One more question is apart from bank balance what are the things could be shown as proof of funds?

Is the property value certificate is ok? please reply

Thanks in advance

Hi

You can show the POF in the name of those who are included in application either primary applicant or secondary applicants. Property valuation is accepted by certain visa offices only so check with your visa office.

Ya right, POF can be on ur name or anyone included in your application with you. I think CHC London is the only one which accepts property evaluation as POF.

Yeah, I cannot comment on other visa offices, but our visa office is London and with our application we included 3 estate agent evaluations and our mortgage statement to confirm how much equity we hold in our property. Still awaiting AOR but we passed the completeness check with these documents.

CIC website says that proof of funds can include the value of any property, but I have heard individual visa offices have their own rules about it.

If in doubt I would send an email query to your visa office.

Wayne.

Hi,

Thank you so much for all your immediate and valuable responses.

In case of bank statement or letter of proof of funds, is there any standard format to get from bank
in order to avoid chance of rejection?

Hi

No there is no standard format but it should hold the following information:
Your Name, Account number and the total balance.
