Hi guys,
I have read a lot of posts about using a gift deed from your parents as a proof of funds.
I have a query. My inlaws are proving me with 80% funds and I am the primary applicant with spouse not accompanying. I wanted to know if we made a gift deed, will it be taxable for me or my inlaws?
I have this query as Indian law states that any gift deed above 940 CAD (Rs. 50000) is taxable by law.
On a secondary note, i would like to thank you all for the various threads related to Canada immigration. They have been more than helpful throughout my journey until now...
Rgds,
