I got a gift deed from my father and based on the format that was suggested in one of the threads, and with little tweaks to the letter to explain my case I have come up with the following letter. I would really appreciate any feedback.

This is with regards to the source of funds in my account. Please be informed that I hold savings account in the following Indian Bank:

Please note that the above account was activated recently (XX-11-2018) after I moved back from the US, before which I never found the need of opening an Indian bank account. I received INR XX,00,000 (XX Lakhs Only) as a result of my Father’s volition and a mark of his natural love and affection towards me. This deed is reflecting in transaction dated XX/11/2018 via Cheque No. 123456 dated XX/11/2018 in my XYZ Bank account. I have enclosed a Bank Certificate/Letter, Detailed statement, Gift Deed letter, and an Affidavit by my father for your reference.
