Please can I show 2 POF. As gifts from my dad and sale of my land property, please how would I show documents of sale of my property. Thanks
You should transfer money you got from property sale to your dad's account and show whole money as a gift deed .

@legalfalcon

Hi Legal falcon,

I live in India and I am taking money from my real sister who lives in US. What document I need to draft and get signed from her to show transferred funds as POF for express entry PR?

Please advise!

Hi, for the gift deed, Does it has to be in the bank for 4 months or is it okay to have less than 30 days?

6 months rule is only for your own money in personal account. For gift deed what we usually do is you can immediately make a fixed deposit of 1 year and show next day with statement reflecting gift deed deposit in your account and FD creation. That's it

In Sri Lanka, I can't get my father's EPF statement from Central Bank to justify my proof of fund as he passed away 15 years ago and the EPF was taken 20 years back. Thus, the EPF money in my mother's account (FD) is difficult to justify in the "Proof of Fund" criteria. However, I have his work agreement letter and retirement letter. So, are these two docs good enough to justify my Student Visa or any other way to justify my mother's money?

if so, how long it has to be there like 3 months. is it enough or maybe more than that like 6 months

If it is gift deed.. The very next day you receive can be convert to FD and get statement. 1 week old is more than enough. Only when you are showing money in personal account.. Iy should be there for 6 months. Gift deed in personal account should be 6 month old. If FD, only 1 day is enough.

I feel money should be in primary applicant's name in a format where it can be liquidated easily. That's why FD is the safest option. If money is in mother's name, it may not work. Do cross check

Is it ok if I show like this as I have to show 6 Million rupees as show money for my student visa. Thus, I'm going to show from 2 sources:

From 02 sources:
1. My mother’s savings, which have been remitted from Saudi Arabia by my brother while he was working there.
2. My existing bank balance, which has been gifted by my brother for my higher education. This fund was given by his wife (she is a Canadian) during their wedding as a gift (wedding happened in last august).

Proof of Fund and Supporting Evidences
Mother’s savings remitted from Saudi Arabia:
· Bank Fixed Deposit Statements and Certificates
· Brother’s Contract of Employment in Saudi Arabia
· Brother’s Visa Page
· Brother’s payslip
· Salary Remittance Receipts from Western Union and Al-Rajhi Bank
· Identification Documents, including mother’s NIC, Passport, and Birth Certificate.
· Mother’s Letter of Financial Support and Affidavit

Gift Deed from my brother:
· My Bank Fixed Deposit Statement and Certificate
· Brother’s marriage certificate certified by Foreign Ministry
· Image of the Gift cheque, CAD$ 20,000 (around 3 Million rupees) from RBC Bank in Canada, given by my Sister-in-law to my brother.
· Bank statement of my brother indicating cheque realization in his account
· Gift Bank Draft from BOC Bank given by my brother to me
· Identification Documents, including brother’s NIC, Passport, and Birth Certificate.
· Letter of Financial Support and Affidavit

Will it be accepted by the Visa Officer?

Thanks in advance.
