Proof of Funds for Parents/ Canada Visitor Visa

Hello ,

Request some info.

My parents are visiting me next month on a 10 year multiple entry visa of Canada.

They will be responsible for their own finances and I am not sponsoring them on this visit. They showed their own funds at the time of application.

My question is when they actually land are they required to show that proof of funds to the immigration officer ?

Any experiences and info will be greatly appreciated
