Proof of Funds - Canada PR paper based (via PNP)

The document checklist to apply for non-Express Entry Canada PR based on provincial nomination does not mention including proof of funds anywhere.

I want to know whether proof of funds are required for paper based application.

I would suggest including the POF details just in case. Especially since it paper based and takes longer, you wouldnt want to have any undue hold ups. So if you can provide it, just include it.

Even I also have the same question. Do we need to maintain the funds till the end of the process in case we submit POF?
Is it mandatory to submit POF? I applied for PR under PNP (Manitoba) - paper based category.
