Proof of Fund Transfer

Hello,

I am currently in the process of sponsoring my husband (files have been sent and everything is currently in process). He recently received an e-mail in reference to his application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for them to continue the processing of his application, they are requiring additional documents/information:

One of the listed document(s) " PROOF OF FUND TRANSFER BY YOUR SPONSOR IN YOUR FAVOR"

Can someone please clarify? Are they inquiring about my income, recent T4 slip, pay stubs etc...??

You can provide bank statement showing that the funds are transferred from the sponsor to the person being sponsored. Or confirmation slips if you use Western Union or some other confirmation. The idea is that the sponsor financially supports the spouse.
