Proof of Fund Letter format

Hi,

I am to show my bank balance as proof of fund. I have already deposited some money in a joint account (with my wife) some four months back.

Could any one share me the format of the letter I should get from the bank please ?

You don't have to give a format to the Bank. The Bank know very well how a Statement of Account is to be given to their account holders. Just submit that statement. If it is a SB or current account, better you ask for a 6 months statement. If it is a term deposit/fixed deposit, ask the bank to give a statement in their letter-head or print out and you can attach a photocopy of the deposit receipt.
