We have applied for fsw program this time with myself as primary and spouse and my son(minor).

We are applying from India and maintain exact 10 lakhs for this purpose in account.

Canadian dollar value is changing and now I see that the amount 18047( for 3 people) cad equates more than 10 lakhs as the rate is 55.55 ₹.

Please advise. Do we have to act upon anything now ?

It is wise to have enough money in your account such that it does not go below the required amount even with small fluctuations in the dollar value.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Why I asked this question is the bank certificate , it's mentioned as 10 lakhs clearly.
But since this is fixed deposit, It has a maturity value which is more than 10 lakhs . But that is not mentioned in bank certificate.

How can I add more money since I have submitted the bank certificate of 10 lakhs along with application already?

Future value of the account does not matter to CIC. You need to have that much amount at the time you send your application. You need to show additional proof of funds, for example other bank account balance you might have to make sure that you have enough settlement fund. If at the time CIC checks your application, it is less than the required amount your application will be rejected outright. Since you have already sent your application, I don't see anything that you can do now. Has the application reached CIC yet? If it hasn't then you can divert the application and send it once you get additional funds. Do you already have a UCI number from previous applications to CIC? If so, then you can try sending additional proof of fund separately, but there is no guarantee this will work.

Yes I have already applied and it is with cic now and the bank certificate also provided with 10 lakhs.
We cannot do anything on that now. However if needed , I can give additional saving account details in later stage.

All experts- please advise

As I know please maintain 11Lac to 12Lakhs if CAD$ down or up no worries... your fund must have to meet CIC criteria and CIC will verified as well as VO also will request for latest fund and might be verify with your bank in future..

I have FDs in multiple banks

So What doc I have to attach in my FSW File ?
The FD Receipt photocopy or any other bank letter mentioning details of FD? becoz on checklist there is a word like "fixed deposit or time deposit statement" so I am confused.

Also in FD receipt only invested amount and maturity amount is mentioned so what to consider while calculating balance ?

moreover the photocopy must be certified true copy ?
