I wanted to apply for a student visa to study for a short-term english course then apply to a Canadian college/ university afterwards. Each term of the english course is 4 months long and depending on my english skills, it might take me one or up to four terms to finish before I can qualify for a post secondary education. When i come to Canada, i'll take the exam that will identify my level of english and the number of terms I have to take so for now I should just apply for 1 term. My question is regarding the proof of financial support. Do i just need to have money enough for 1 term. So that means tuition + ($833 * 4 months) ?
