Proof of financial means - pls help urgent .

I need help to understand how do i present my application for my mom who is visiting her sister and her family in canada . She has around 20K CAD in savings in her bank account . However her only source of financial support is her son who is working in uae . But all the money is from savings she has acquired on her own , via investments , selling house and purchasing new ones . All that . So do we mention she has a financial support even though she will be paying for her own trip with her own savings

Yes you should mention financial support because if not the cost of the visit decreases her savings that she will be depending on to live off of for life. If she is not expecting any more funds spending money to travel to Canada would be much harder to justify.
