Hello all,

1. Is it necessary to have financial capacity for the whole duration of my study (two years) or just the first year (one year)?
2. What will be considered as financial support? Should we only have cash, or owning a property will be sufficient for gaining student visa?

Thanks,

You only e have to support enough funds for the first year.

Cic will ask you the last four bank statements showing:
- c$10000 for your living expenses.
- c$4000 for your spouse living expenses (if applicable)
- c$3000 for each child (if applicable)

Plus your first year tuition and other fees.

Of course, it's always good to show any other assets you have as a bond to your own country.
