hi, everyone i was send for my child proof of citizenship last november 28,2014 in embassy manila but i haven't receive any acknowledgement letter from them. my question is how long will it take the cic send you an acknowledgement letter? i just don't know if they receive my application or not but i send my application through commercial carrier an LBC

I applied for proof from the USA for myself back in May. It took 2.5 months for an AOR to arrive, but the AOR was dated for 1.5 months earlier, so it took them a little over a month to mail the AOR after they printed it.

I do know you're going to have sit back, it's going to be a long while for the entire process. Based on what is posted on CIC, you have 5 months of standard processing time, plus then add 3-4 months because you're going through an embassy and add another 6-8 months since it's the proof for a child.

If you don't have an AOR in a few more months, I would contact the Embassy.
