Proof of address/residence?

Am landing Vancouver soon and need to get a proof of address/residence, which is the fastest way?

Applying for a BCID?

Open a bank account and obtain a letter from the bank confirming you're the account owner and your address OR a statement of the account right after opening it.

Thank you! I originally thought I need to provide proof of address even for opening a bank account. I know I need one to get the Library card. Not sure for BCID but with BCID application, I will only get a paper without photo and not official.
