Hi,
I've applied for a promotion at work... *if* I get it how would it effect my application? It is the main way I am applying and my application is currently beingbb
Processed. Is there anyway this can have a negative impact?
Thanks

No. There are no negative implications resulting from a promotion. Good luck with it!

would it impact your roles and responsibility? I.e. after promotion would you shift from technical to managerial position? (for example technical -2174 to managerial -0213)? If change in noc then it may have impact. I believe work experience should be in the same noc. Same job = same noc I suppose, but may be wrong.

Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
in the same job,
within the last 10 years, and
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Ahh I see.

It will be the same job but more of a supervisor role in it. So u would be in charge of training staff but I would not be the manager.

Thanks!
