Hi everyone!
My citizenship application stuck on "prohibitions ".
Everything is turned in to "completed " already except for prohibitions.


My timeline:

Sep 6th 2023 application field

Sep 20th 2023 citizenship test completed

Oct 3rd 2023 Background Check Completed

Nov 27th 2023 Interview Done

Nov 27th 2023 physical and language completed

Nov 27th 2023 Prohibition in progress

Citizenship ceremony : not started

Location : Vancouver, BC

According to your experience, how long does this section take to pass?

@The_last_one I wrote this in the past where I said it should take about 34 days on average but it isn't true hahaha. as you'll see, many people here have been waiting for longer than 34 days. So, if you are not extremely lucky (I mean those who passed in 34 days on average which is literally only 3 people because this is a very rare condition lol), you'll be waiting a long time.

In 2017 I did flagpole and I just wondering if thats a reason? Cuz now they have IRCC have to check me in USA BORDER SERVICE OR FBI?



My timeline:

Jun 30th 2020 application sent

Nov 11th 2020 application received

Dec 11th 2020 application started

February 5th 2021 background completed

July 28th 2021 citizenship test ( passed)

August 29th 2021 test completed

Dec 30th 2021 physical and language completed

Prohibition in progress

Citizenship ceremony : not started

My timeline is -
AOR - March 16 (single, online)
FP and test request - Nov 14
FP done - Nov 15
Test done - Dec 3
BG check and test showing completed in tracker - Dec 9.
Passport photos asked & send - Dec 15
Online Interview - march 3
Language and physical presence complete - march 7

Hey, any IRCC staff browsing this forum? Need help understanding what exactly goes into prohibitions check!! If background checks are cleared, why is the delay with prohibitions!

My language and physical presence completed nearly two months ago. Stuck with prohibitions for no obvious or logical reason.

My Background finally was completed on 19 July (Reflected on 21st July) but just got off the phone with the agent and he said Prohibitions still not started
Only prohibitions is left for me

Today at 31 January Prohibition changed to Completed and I got my Ceremony letter for 12 Feb 2024!
