Hi All,

Can you please help me in assessing my Visa chances . Below is my visa profile

10th - 70% - 2005
12th - 82% - 2007
2007 - 2008 (Was planning for Commercial Pilot License from US, but after I got the I20, the flying school closed down and declared bankruptcy so was not able to go, so I went ahead with B SC)
Graduation - Bachelors of Sciences - 68% - 2008 - 2011

IELTS - 7.5

Freelancing Work ex - MeritTrac Services Pvt. Ltd. - 4 years (Was doing this while studying)

Work Exp 1 : Wipro 11 Months
Work Exp 2 : Verity UBS Affiliate - 1 Year 3 Month (Current Employment)

Got admission from Conestoga in Human Resource Management - 1 Year certificate course.

Please let me know my visa chances, your replies will be of great help.

Dude.. I personally feel a course mismatch..
VO dont like BSC guy goin for a Human Resource course..

Lets not even get to exceptions.. thats a waste.. so ill talk in general sense..

Logical progression of studies is fine.. as u r only a graduate and u wana go for higher studies after some amount of work ex.
IELTS is fine too.. Your school grades are nice.. graduation marks r ok..

work ex can u explain a bit what u did ?? in all of ur work ex..

Coz the deal is your course NEEDS to match your past education and Work ex..
or atleast one of those..

My total work experience of 2 years and a few odd months is in Human Resources only. I was part of the Talent Acquisition team which basically does hiring.

Basically help companies in cordinating their recruitment events.

Example :
When companies used to go for campus hiring, We (MeritTrac) helped them in assessing students and ensuring that the recruitment even goes as planned. . .to sum it up I would say it was HR Operations
 
Arrite.. so we are getting somewhere..

So fine.. this is what you do now..

All your work ex is HR more or less..
So when you build ur SOP.. focus on that..

Leave out the Commercial Pilot plan and whatever else that DID NOT work out...!!
VO does not need all that..

How HR has clearly been your focus right after graduation. Even during it as your freelance says.. how it makes much more sense to you to pursue the same interest in ur higher studies as you have gained enuf knowledge n experience from ur past work ex that this is where u wana build a career in..

How u r gonna benefit from the course once u come back here.. what r ur plans for success once u r back home.. thats it..

One last question, I believe that we have to justify a gap if any in our education. So what do you think would be the right reason to justify the gap of a year after my 12th and before my grad.

u can write u have done some volunteering or helping out in family business..
 
Hmmm, how about documentary evidence then. Isn't documentary evidence mandatory.
