Hello,

My spouse is currently on a 1 year work visa that comes from a 1 year student visa as well and I am just wondering if we get the application in before the deadline of March 8, can she continue to work? We are applying for spouse sponsorship and open work permit.

if it has expired, no. she cannot continue to work. she will have to wait until the OWP is received.

It expires on March 8, and we are submitting everything tomorrow. So she will have to stop working even during Implied Status?
