processing times on site doesn't mean yours isnt being processed

Hey everyone, so called last week to see if our application was being processed...women on phone said no and explained that they are only processing applications stated on the website....wrong!!! she also said that people sponsoring partners would not recieve a letter. hmmm... we submitted out sponsorship application Feb 11th 2010 (website says processing up to Jan 11th) and today, March 15th 2010 recieved a letter stating that I had been approved to sponsor my husband in the UK. so for all of you that are patiently waiting....it may come sooner than you think!! who knows whats up with the website dates!!

Thats a good news. Since last week after seeing the timelines of CIC i had stopped checking ecas & planned to open it on 15th April but thanks for giving the hope :-)
 
i believe there was a hiccup around the middle of january and they started to process from the wrong end of the pile, they then realized their mistake and and the dates on e-cas jumped back to the start of January.

But they are still processing Feb applications... Today someone who sent the application on 16th feb is approved...

I understand your feelings, I MUST say that is a very good news.Please dont check that on line website much.it will drive you nutes. If you already got a letter that they approved your application that is very very good.Next You should get another one asking for you to pay a landing fee(This can happen both ways, You can pay it when you submit your application.If not you will get a letter)

Next Check the website, If the status saying "Medical result have been recieved", , Your husband 'visa is on the way " 99.99 %, After that you will get a letter asking for a passport.

hello all, i was so alittle pissed about the time line on their site, so i havent tried to check the online status for about a week.
but today i was like hmm.. what the heck, maybe i'll try just once... and guess what, i finaly got to log on.

We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on February 17, 2010.

We started processing your application on March 11, 2010.

We sent you a letter on March 11, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

so i am just waiting for the letter now, i am so nervous now, i hope i get approved.
so yeah ppl, dont rely on the time line on their site, because its totally inaccuratre. good luck all :D
 
Hi all.

Are you all referring to the CIC-M website dates?

I sent my application Feb 9th and tracked it all the way, so I know they received/signed for it on Feb 12th, but we're yet to hear anything. I'm not starting to panic just yet, as I know the sponsorship section could take a while, but after reading other posts on this forum about people who sent their applications after mine are beginning to receive decision letters. And I'm yet to be able to sign on to e-CAS.

Anyway, good luck to the rest of you!
 
I am still waiting for a sign of life from CIC-M. They got my outland application on Feb 2nd and I have no letter, can't log onto E-cas.
Waiting Patiently.

The only thing is that mine is supposed to be forwarded to MICC as I am going back to Quebec.

Please let me have soon news soon ::)

Finally i have ecas up today.. Decision made on 15th March on my application..
Waiting for the letter now :-)
