processing time ?

From when the given processing time begins?
For exmaple: if i submit the Application form to the immigration office today and the given process time is 9 months so how it works? How much time would it take untill hearing? Under private refugee sponsorship. .
Any type of help will be appreciated thanks...

Thanks for your help, but exactly my question was how the process works?
If the given process time is 9 month where it will starts from ? Does the given time includes the hearing process or exluded..
