processing time to get visa for permanent residency after sending medicals

Hi all!
our medical reports were delivered on 6th april'11 and we did receive reciept of dd encashed on 27th april'11..we r waiting for getting the passport with visa stamped on it..
how longer - months days will it take to get the visa/passport..
please help

CHC is required to tell you how much time it can take. Since I am in India. New Delhi VO sent my passports in 36 days.
 
It really depends.....some get it in 35-40 days and some are waiting for past 6 months. Security checks take time...if you have visited different countries, it might take some time. Best of luck.
 
Processing time after Medicals will Take approx 6 months or sometime more .

Just and Indication if u recvd and upaded documents request from chc london between the 6 months of waiting period for sure there is some movement of ur file .

After 6 months u could then ask for CAIPS

We did our medicals 17 may 2011, arived Paris VO 23 May 2011, 16 June received request to submit passports which we did in person today 21 June at Paris VO, the passports with visa will be ready for us to pick-up on thursday 23 June 2011;

I sent my RPRF fee and Medicals on 24th May 2011. Awaiting for the PPR!!!!!

Thanks for the kind wishes, picked visas up today at Paris VO with paperwork, I was approx 2 minutes in the embassy. Still cannot believe it :o

Madhura,

Generally takes 4-6 months. If you dont get it till the end of the 6th month, you need to investigate further. you can check the caips note online.

My name is Hussain. I have a great respect for your profession and am glad that you have received your visas. God bless you.

The reason I am contacting you is because you are the only applicant I found in this forum who have gone through Canadian Embassy in Paris.

My application was also filed with Canadian Embassy in Paris. Just wanted to know about your overall experience at the Paris visa office.

My questions
1 / how much time after medicals did you receive your passport requests ? was it by email or normal paper mail ?
2 / after submitting passports how many days after did you get your visas ?
