PROCESSING TIME-STUDY PERMIT IN UAE-HELP!!

I am from Ecuador.
My embassy is in Colombia.

Ok, thanks. But according to what I read on CIC website, it was written there that UAE study permit processing time is between 6 to 8 weeks but till now I don't have request from Medical, so that is why am serious worried about my application.

In Colombia, where my embassy is, the time is supposed to be 4 week... But I received instructions for medicals on weeks 7...

@ Wolfpmd3, wow this is not funny at all, one of my brother submitted his online study permit application sometimes in year last year to the Canadian embassy Abu dhabi and got medical request in four weeks. Well I don't know maybe the volume of application is much this time around.

Well, I will wait till end of next week and if no new from them then I can mail them.
