Processing time-- Ottawa (CPP-O)-- application of re-entry visa

Hi all,

My timeline:

Application sent: Feb 15
Received: Feb 19
Visa stamped: Mar 11
Arrived : Mar 14

I applied through regular offline process. The timelines seem 1 week early than whats displayed on CIC site. (The CIC site says that as of Mar 13 they are still processing Feb 11 applications).

Are you on a WP here with ur family? If yes, what all documents did you submit for you and your spouse?
 
Yes I am on a WP with my family.
Documents submitted
1. TRV Application form + Family Info sheet
2. WP copies
3. Offer letter from employer
4. Last 3 months bank statements and payslips
5. Passports , 2 photos and fee receipt

CPP-TRV_Ottawa office received my TRV application on 7th february, and I have got an email today saying that, my passport was return on 11th March.

I forgot attach Xpress post envelops, however I have sent through Fedex after i realized. I knew that, they have received my xpresspost envelops.

But, when I am tracking in Canadapost, I am not finding the status. Do you think they might have sent through regular post?
Just I am wondering, they might not consider my xpress post envelops, which was sent separately?

Any suggestion or same experience ?

I completed this yesterday for my wife and me, paid our fees and received confirmation of our submission from CIC. The e-mail also said to not mail any passports/other documents unless asked for. I am waiting for the CIC e-mail now, that tells me my case has been processed and either asks me to mail them our passports or mails us the counterfoils to affix ourselves?

Not sure what the next step is, but I have a flight out on Feb 14th and I'm worried sick. Maybe I should have just applied by mail? I saw that the online processing time was 2 days less and chose to try it.

To which address should I be sending the documents when I send it thru canada post..Is it the below:

CPP – Ottawa
Temporary Resident Visa Section
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1

I was not sure whether I should be attaching the Schedule 1 or not. Called the call center and they said that I need to attach it. SO, I went ahead and submitted it. Is this ok?
 
I send my trv march 27, 2013 and i made a mistake and send a photo copy of the job letter instead of the original. do u think they will send back my application? any input?

I dont think that will be an issue as the checklist does not ask u to provide a original employer letter.
 
Hi,
Did your passport reach them correctly when you sent to 365 Laurier Ave by Xpresspost? Did you get it back?

Hello warriorprince,

Did you send to 365 Laurier Ave by xpresspost? I did that, and Canadapost says it was delivered to the mailroom, and I dont know if that is okay.
