Processing Time - List of 38 applicants

Could anyone please advise as to the proposed processing time of these applications. Received a letter from my attorney stating that the Minister had allured to applications being finalized within 6-12 months, is this true, and or will applications already in be processed quicker?

For those applying under Federal Skilled Worker Scheme only,

If you have applied on or after 27th February, and you belong to list of 38 occupations on NOC, your application will be put straight into processing without delay. The whole process should ideally complete in a year or so.

Those who applied earlier than 27th Feb 08, their process will be normal as before, and backlog will be reduced gradually.

If you apply after 27th Feb 08 and your occupation is not on the list of NOC, your application will be returend.

As to the application etc, I read in one of the other postings where the person enquired as to the application, I having previously made use of the simplified application process. Am I supposed to submit new docs, or do I just wait until I eventually hear something?

Wait for them to contact you for documents.
