Processing time for the TRV with different country of origin & application

Hello,

On the cic website the processing time for the TRV is given which is different for different countries from where you apply.

My question is what if your country of origin is different from your country of application ? For e.g. if I am from Pakistan(processing time 21 days) and i am living in Germany(processing time 10 days) with a Blue card status, then what processing time applies to my application, Pakistani or German ?

P.S I applied on 26th of May and gave Biometrics on 31st of May, and I am still waiting for my application decision.

The most likely possibility is that your app is being processed in your country of residence, Germany. However, as someone of another citizenship, it may take longer than normal. In the scenario your application was sent to Pakistan (another possibility), they may also want additional time to check your ties in Germany.

So I guess...normal processing times may not apply.
