Processing time for restoration status?? how to check,pls help

Hi,

I have applied for the restoration status for temporary residence status and work status on 24th aug,2015 online,because my bridging work permit got rejected because of some glitch ,

Just want to know if you guys can help me ,

Is the processing time for Restoration application is same as shown on CIC website for Temporary residence status on CIC WEBSITE WHICH is currently 3rd september,2015 for online application.

Please help me...

Sorry, I don't know where to check it online.

When my wife's WP expired and I applied for the extension a bit late, I had to call the call centre because it took longer than usual processing time. Apparently, they had to undergo the restoration process. If you ask the call centre, they can give you some estimate, which is what I did.

I applied for restoration of status - as like you I was refused a BOWP.
Applied beginning of June - got it Nov 15

I wonder if you applied at the same time for WP and visitor's status? How long did it take you to get it? Do you know if it's possible to apply for a WP extension and visitor's status extension at the same time?

yes you can apply for visitor permit and work permit simultaneously but have to be two different application.lead time is specified on the website for each individual check it.

So is it a good idea to apply for a visitor's status extension online. To print the confirmation letter from CIC and to stick it to the package of documents when applying to WP extension (I'm going to do it on papers) just as a proof that I'm trying to avoid a situation of being out of status.
