Process time

Dear experts,

I want to know how much time it will take to complete process from the beginning to get my passport; here are some information:
I am 29 yrs old male from Egypt
Married
No problem with the experience
No problem with medical and police clearance certificates
No problem with the proof of fund

So how much time if I proceed with the process by myself and if a lawyer –from Canada- handled my case?

Somewhere between 40 and 56 months in Cairo, if not longer. Same length of time to process whether you do it yourself or hire a lawyer. But a lawyer would ensure that the application is correct and complete.
