Process guides???

1. I applied electronically
2. I got a request to send the passport

How hard is it to just provide us with the address of where the passport needs to go? They are confusing us with VAC fees. Some are saying we don't have to use VAC if it processed online. Ok... I processed online. I don't want to use the VAC service. How do I go from there?
BTW... It is being processed in China.
It is very vexing when they tell you to do more than one thing and not be specific.

You have to send your passport to the closest VAC to you, no choice. Either in person or by mail.

Best to call the VAC hotline in China if you want specifics.

bellaluna thanks for the reply. It helped me a lot when you said "no choice"

I just finished chatting with them online and got the specifics of other things like the payment and requirements.
