Process and approximate timelines

I was wondering if somebody has a short explanation or link to the process of the application. Meaning what are the steps after I send the file and what are the normal time frames (if all documents are good).

Also does everybody need to do the medical test and how soon is that after applying for PR through CEC?

Thank you - do you know how long there is between applying and the medical test request?
Secondly my daughter was born in canada - does she also has to do the medical test? since she is already canadian?

This manual describes the application assessment, and is used by VOs to process

After sending your application, and documents are complete, you will get AOR after about 50-60 days.
6-8 months after that MR.
