Procedure to Bringing Valuables - Plszzz help me.

Can someone please shed some light on this. I have already posted this but no one is answering I really need some help

I have some gold jewlels and ornaments with me to bring.

Should I bring a picture of them if I am bringing at a later time after landing?

Can I put a random value according to the current market price of the gold or should I take it to a jewellery merchant to value it.

Please somebody answer, I am stuck.

bro, it depends on how much you want to bring. Because if it is just a small amount you do not need to declare it

It is definitely worth more than 10K I presume. How do we get it valued, should I take it to any Jewellary merchant in India and get the value in a letter or can I put a random value based on today's gold price?

My scenario is about Landing and importing goods from the home country later. in that case, do I have to get my valuables appraised in the home country before entering them in the goods to follow list?
