I have heard that the online ones take about a month so I would imagine the paper ones are longer than that. Are you aware that you can also drive to the border and get one on the spot. For many people this option is a lot easier as the applications can be confusing and having to wait can be stressful. Just make sure you have all the right documentation with you.
