Dear members,

what does the PPC check consists of? I mean, I have this situation: I have sent my documents already. A couple of months ago I have applied for a specialization course, but since I wasn't qualified, because there was an age limit (which I had crossed) there were cases against us (against all the applicants that were over 35 years had applied for the course anyways). And now we have to pay a fee, which is a very symbolic amount of money just to show that we were penalized. But the problem is that all these cases were sent to the court, so we have to (somehow) face the law, because we have broken the law (as small as it could be).
Now my concern is that, when (and if) VO asks me for another PPC at a later stage, I might appear as a person who has problems with the law, isn't it? How much can this penalize me? I am not a criminal, I am only penalized because I tried to apply for a course that does not accept ppl over 35 years old.

Please help, how to act in such case??? How much can this affect my application? Can a rejection be only because of this?

Rgrds,
Zoeland

Your charge/conviction must equate to a crime under an act of parliament in Canada to make you inadmissible. If there is none you cannot be found to be inadmissible. You may need to do some research of Canadian law to see if there is something that equates in order to decide whether you believe submitting an application is what you want to do or not. You may apply - whether you will be successful is another question and no guarantee can ever be given for that.
