I have sent my full documents in last 3rd week of September. VO LONDON. till today no communication / acknowledgment from London office.

Now the problem is that i have included my new born in my application and sent a $150 draft along with my application. the draft issuance date is 20th August and as per banking law all instruments are valid for 6 months which means my instrument will stand void on 20th Feb 2011. I hope and pray that they process the draft before that.

is there any way i can explain this situation to London office and make them process my draft ? and one more thing what is the normal procedure for sending draft acknowledgment will it come with the 2nd AOR or later. ? ?

it is better to sent them email or letter and detailing you situation .

i already sent them case specific inquiry and in reply they just mentioned that we process application as per que blah blah.

i will send them another email in feb starting.

they are clever in that sense. they always cash it before and know the draft expires in 6 months. so don't worry.

same reply to me from Buffalo VO , but reply like we are review your application thats it. I got AOR even its in-process since last 3months I guess.

dear, they are very clever but as my understanding they have not yet opened up my documents package because my ecas is still CIO not "RBVO" so they dont know that my envelop contains additional $150 draft.

I hope and pray that they process my draft before the deadline because otherwise it will be a big hassle.

i was in same situation some time ago and was worried if my bank draft expires without being cashed but i leanred from experience and othe people that they are aware of the fact that payment can expire so although your ecas is showing not received by vo but they might have opened your package and cashed your payment or will be cashing soon. and am sure your bank draft will definitely be encahsed before it expires. this is same when we received our first AOR bank draft was encashed some time earlier.

have you checked with your bank that bank draft has been encashed or not?????/
