Problem with processing LMIA application and Submitted ITA

Hi everyone,

This is great that the BC PNP has a lower minimum score in almost every aspect. I guess a lot of folks get selected like me. I just submitted all the information they need after the Invitation to apply (ITA). Fortunately, my current employer agree to submit a LMIA application for me last month. There is no reply yet and my work permit will expire this month on 22nd.

Will I still be able to get another work permit even after the current work permit expired?

Can anyone tell if I can get the work permit extension documents before it expire?

Apply work permit extension before your work permit expires then after it expires you can work normally because you are on implied status.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just applied for the work permit extension before it expires by courier mail. The CIC webpage suggest it takes 117 days to process so I can technically work in those days.

Can I still apply to change to visitor status between these days? Should I fill in the exact validity dates written on the work permit I got (it is expired tho)?
