Problem with PCC in the final stage...PURE BAD LUCK!!

Hi All,

My case was going fine initialy. I recently even completed my medicals and sent my RPRF via DD, now I have received a request from CHC ND asking me to submit a PCC from Kuwait. I lived and worked in Kuwait for a period of 6 months and 2 weeks long back in 2003. I had completed all the formalities while exiting kuwait and also had no criminal record there or anywhere. I contacted the Kuwait embassy in ND while I was collecting the documents to be submitted as a part of my full docs package and got the information from them that I have to get my fingerprints attested by Tamilnadu State Police Crime Bureau and the State Govt and the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi and then submit the document to the embassy with a 2000Rs fee. I did all this and got back the document with a seal and signature on kuwaiti revenue stamps pasted on the document. I submitted the same as part of my full docs package and got the second AOR successfully. Subsequently I also got the request for medicals and RPRF which I completed and submitted, now they are again asking for a PCC from kuwait.

I spoke to my consultant and he instrucuted me that I should send a letter to CHC ND explaining my situation and I did the same. I have not heard from CHC after that, its been 10 days now and am really worried whether this PCC will lead to any issues and my application will get rejected.

Has anybody else on this forum faced a similar issue?? what is the chance of success of my application given the current scenario?? will this PCC be a big issue enough to fail my application??

Please note I have submitted a PCC already and cant get another one now, because the TN police and Kuwaiti embassy donot entertain repeated requests for the same document. If anybody has any idea or information please share. Thanks all for patiently reading this post.

Your application may not be denied purely for this reason. The fact that you have given one PCC already from Kuwait, why then are they asking for it again? They may be wanting to be 100% sure of your past, but in the current scenario they may accept the status quo after you sent a letter to them clarifying the same.

All documentation what chc ask for is for them to make a decision without any riders, for cases where any document is missing is not a direct case for deniel, but just further investigation for approving the facts as stated by you in your application.

Hi Rishab, everything will workout in your favour inshAllah. Did u keep the copy of that pcc? they can't refuse your application merely on this base as u have already provided them pcc. if they are still concernd then they'll communicate with you again regsrding that.

Hi Rishab,

My case was quite similar to urs though not exactly the same. I do have a foreign travel history.CHC did ask me to get FBI Clearance, since i was working on cruise ship and my stay was never of 6 consecutive months in US I replied them about the same and they were convinced about it,though they never replied me back on the query which they had put forward.So if you have given a correct answer I dont think it should be a problem.The only thing they did, was my security check took a long time so I guess you should be alright.

@ Ahmed...thanks for the support bro...keeping my fingers crossed and yes I have a copy of the original fingerprint document with all the seals signatures and stamps...hope they accept the doc...my doubt is also that if this PCC was such a big issue then they wouldnt have requested for my RPRF and medicals right?? they should have told me to get my PCC first and then taken the case forward...this is also giving me some hope
