I have seen several guides on linking a paper application to an online account, however, none of them seem to show the issue I am having. After I log in with the GCkey and it I am at the page "Welcome [Username]" It states "You last signed in with your GCKey on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 17:34:05 ET. From this page you can Change Your Password, Change Your Recovery Questions or Revoke Your GCKey. To help protect your information, please remember to sign out and close your browser before leaving this computer unattended. Please select Continue to return to the Government of Canada online service."
No where on this screen do I see "Add Application to Account" or "Link Application to Account."
When I click Continue it takes me to "http://www.cic.gc.ca/" I select English because that is my first language, then I am taken to "https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship.html" Where I see the option "My Application" or on the sidebar I see "Check Your Application Status"
Clicking "My Application" takes me to a screen that also has "Check Your Application Status" so either way I get to click that link.
That link takes me to "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html" where I select the type of Application I want to check. I select "Visitor Visa" and click continue and I did not apply online so I select "Link your paper application with your online account" and that link takes me to "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...es/application/account/link-paper-online.html" Where it asks me to sign in to GCKey.
When I sign in to GCKey I end up back at where I started. Endlessly looping with no actual option for information about my application or anyway to link my application. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciate!
