Has anyone else also experience a problem with CRS Calculator on CIC website? My score is supposed to be 438 but it is calculating it as 290? Any ideas why as this is really worrying me?

You are doing something wrong. I just tried it and it is ok.

Share screenshot of your manual calculation and CRS. That might help figure out the problem.
