URGENT : Please help

I am applying for a Canada tourist visa for our family, and here is the entire situation. I submitted my mother's application along with my son and wife as a group application on 20th April 23, with me being the primary applicant. Except for my mother, everyone else received a biometrics letter. My mother's application said system error, so I raised an IRCC web form as suggested by VFS. Since there was no reply and we ran out of time for the planned travel, I again submitted another new single application on 29th April 23. For the 2nd application, we received a "biometric collection letter," Today, my mother completed her biometrics.

After completing the biometrics, when I checked the IRCC portal, to my dismay, I found that the Biometric details had been updated on the first application, where the "biometric collection letter" was not received. Instead, it shows, "We do not need your fingerprints." The 2nd application should have the updated biometric data, but it says, "We need your fingerprints to process your application." Anyone who faced something similar and had an idea of what would happen next, and anyone I need to contact. Any info would be helpful.
Both applications have the same UCI ID

I have raised a web form and it says 28 days for them to respond. I am locked and not having any clarity on the next steps.
