Problem in raising CSE...length of field for UCI

Hi all,

In trying to raise a CSE I notice that my new UCI doesn't fit into the field titled UCI that the form gives.

My old UCI used to be SXXYYGGZ now it is CAN00000XCVXDFSG, so the field is much longer. It doesn't fit into the UCI field provided by CIC webform.

Anybody else face the same issue and the way around it?

Why don't you just use application number instead?

that's what I did actually. But found it weird that there should be a problem in fitting the UCI in that field and was wondering if it is something wrong that I am doing at my end
