Problem in PCC my spouse PCC length of stay duration mentioned is wrong.....

my wife stayed with me in Italy and they mentioned her duration is wrong, she stayed 23/11/2006 to 17/10/2008, they mentioned in PCC that she stayed in italy 22/02/2007 to 23/02/2008.
thats completly wrong, I ask to authority they told me its not problem because they dont get record before that date and after the last mentioned date.
in my PCC they dont mentioned any date of my stay.
any problem when I submit this PCC with translated in english and submit with full docs?
please guide me.

can you get some official to sign that they don't have record before that date? or do you have any email correspondence with them stating the same?

no its mentioned in the same letter.
my record is not exist in immigration office, I stayed 4years, my wife with me for 1year some months.

OK, I thought they don't keep record rather than the don't have a record of you or your wife during those periods. OK, wait for others to answer.

yes even the authority also told me that its depend my residence permit issue and on pending process, they have last record in the police station as mentioned above date. becasue last residence permit of my wife I applied on the date of 2007 and then we are waiting for Renewal and in italy residence permit renewal takes >1year and we left the country, now on last in 2010 the police head qurter cancel the permit of stay mentioning that pending case and waiting for pickup but nobody there so last date is that date of 2010, but I dont know the canadian visa officer will understand this or they will ask me to for more clarifications? we dont have more enough docs or proof of the same, or just submit my certificates and docs which I have by italian authority?
Please seniors and others please help.
