Problem facing international students coming back to Montreal

Hello,
I hope all are doing well and safe. I want to know i am planning to go to my country i.e Pakistan in the december 2020 for one month vacations and will return back to montreal on January 2021. Right now i am in the montreal, QC. I heard immigaration officer doesn't allow the students to comeback to montreal due to the nature of the classes i.e online classes. Does anyone experience the same problem or anyone recently went to their country and came back to Montreal recently? Please give me guidance. I have my study visa permit before march 2020. Thank you

Since you have a study permit issued before March 18 and have been living in Canada (bring your lease) in theory they are meant to allow you to return, although right now it is still best to have a letter from your school that states you have in-person classes. Of course things may change by January.
