@ Holygun - I have no idea. I know no words will console you. So I refrain from messaging you these days. Have you ordered your GCMS notes lately? It's shocking that with no obvious reason you can be stuck for security checks. Check your INBOX.

My latest GCMS is dated Jan. 10 and Crim=in progress security not started.

But an officer called CONV-ADMIN touched my file a month ago... basically I don't know what he/she did, touched an expired criminal check from last last year.

and my file is under review with an officer, they will contact me for their decision if needed...

Hi Holygun. I think an admin staff of CPP-O touched your file. I did not find a record of that in my GCMS notes so I can't say what was done.

Meanwhile, if you've been in Canada for a while and your criminality check is taking this long then it calls for worry. Are you married? Did you submit your marriage certificate to CPP-O?
This check is taking too long.

I'm still waiting on my PPR through BC PNP. Here's my timeline:

Application Received: April 2, 2013
Medical Request: May 31, 2013
Medicals Sent: June 28, 2013
In Process: Since August 13, 2013
RPRF Requested and Paid: August 22, 2013

I have heard nothing further.

It's so frustrating to hear of other people who applied months after me and who received theirs first. My common law partner is on my application too so I was thinking maybe that's what is slowing it down?

My criminal checks are completed. but it never get updated on system. Even the officer put a note saying criminal checks are NRT, valid till this date.
My understanding is that they are waiting for security checks to finalized to finish of the criminal checks. Thats what I have read on some other topic.
On the other hand, I go thru the criminal checks every year because of my job so I am damn clear and clean

It is the security checks that I am waiting for.

Your application has completed the initial review process and there do not appear to be any outstanding information or documents for your application.

Accordingly, your file is now in queue for the final review process following which you will be contacted by this office with either a decision or a request for additional information.

I regret that I cannot provide you with a more specific expected date of completion for your application.

My advice to you will be to get in touch with the MP I also had met them and within two days they responded and gave me a months time stating if I would not receive anything in a month in that case to call them back. But I received my ppr in three weeks.

Please get in touch with them and give it a try.
