Hi All,

I want to make my spouse Principal Applicant so that we will receive ITA directly.
But she is unemployed since 1 year and has 4.3 years of experience in single NOC before.

Can she be principal applicant while being unemployed.

Unemployment is never an issue with any Express Entry program. As long as you meet the employment requirements of 1560 continuous hours in the last five ten years, spread over at least one continuous year, you are good to go.

last ten or five years? If I'm not mistaken it is last 10 years for "foreign work experience" and 5 for "Canadian work experience"

Right, I keep making this error.
It is indeed last 10 years. OINP has a five year requirement, which is why I keep tripping up
