Hi everyone!
I just found out I am pregnant about 7 weeks. Notice to ppr already emailed to me yesterday,
I am the principal applicant in my QSW/ PR application. Anyone knows what will the predicament be for me?
I will send my passport today and I am to tell CIC I am pregnant after 3 weeks, to be really
sure. Will they ask me to give birth in Quebec? Am I allowed to leave the child here with my family?
By the way, I applied only for one, as single. Am I allowed for an application for a common law partner?

If you have a common law partner and lived together for more than 12 months, you must include them in your application. If that is the case, notify the visa office and tell them and ask to add your partner.

we know each other less than 12 months and not live together. Is leaving the baby to my family an option?

You can leave the baby anywhere you want to but watch out for this: If you get the PR visa as a single person with no child and you have the baby before you land, your PR visa becomes invalid because your family composition has changed.

By landing on the visa you got as a single person even though you had a baby you did not tell them about, you are committing misrepresentation because you did not notify them of this change in your family composition. If you try to sponsor this child or they find out about this through other means, you could lose your PR. You will not be able to sponsor the child.

If you plan to land after the baby is born, you should not send your passport now but instead tell the visa office that you are pregnant and intend to wait until after the birth. You would then have to add the baby to your application as not accompanying and the baby needs to have a medical. This ensures that if you ever want to sponsor the baby during the next 22 years, you can. Another option is that you could land before the baby is born and bring it back to your family later. If the baby is born in Canada, it will be a citizen.

I do intend to tell CIC that I have a child before I land. I first want to leave him here in my home country so that I can establish myself there by working. It would be impossible for me to work and care for my baby alone. And then I will get the baby when I am capable already.
Can I include in my application my boyfriend too? But we dont live together.

If you intend to have the baby before you land and you have gotten the PPR now, you should not send your passport, instead notify them that you are pregnant and will not land before the baby is born so you will need to wait and add the baby to your application. Once the baby is born, you have to re-do some forms and send to the visa office to add the baby and you need medicals for the baby. If you add the baby as not accompanying, the baby will not get a PR visa at this time but you can sponsor it for PR later.

You can not include your boyfriend as a part of your application unless you live with him for 12 months as a couple or marry him. If you wish to take him with you, you can marry him now and at the same time you add the baby, add him too. If you list him as accompanying, he can get the PR visa along with you and you can go to Canada together.
