Hello all!
I plan to visit Canada next summer to attend Anime North convention with a couple friends. The only problem is that I have been deported from Canada in the past, back in 2006, because my parents apply for refugee status but it was rejected. I just wanted to know, whether this will affect my application for a Visitor Visa.
The second question I have is that, at the time of deportation, we did not purchase our own return ticket, and were told that we will need to pay CND5000 if we were to re-enter Canada within the next 5 years. I just wanted to double check whether this claim is correct or not. If anyone could help clarify the details above, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
Sincerely,
Jason
**EDIT, Just found the Visitor's sub forum, if any mod could kindly move the topic to the appropriate sub forum, I would greatly appreciate it, sorry for the inconvenience mods!
