You can submit offer letter, joining letter or any document you got at the time of joining or relieving...
If you are claiming this experience for NOC which is one of the criteria for PR qualification, you need to have clear role & responsibilities form the organisation, and in this case you may not be able to get from HR of this company... so you can have same from your ex-colleagues as an affidavit having your role & responsibilities (on Rs. 50 stamp paper & notarized) + include a covering letter that you are not able to have same from your ex-employer because of this reason and submitting affidavit from ex-colleagues.

Any suggestions on this seniors...please....

I think you do not need this.... I believe VO does not need to know how your employer or ex-employer is doing, whether its share are going up or down or its bankrupt

u can take exp of 1.5 years from them. also take from them joining letter(back dated), salary certificate(back dated) , certificate of code of conduct from that employer(current dated till the time u worked there) and mention the purpose of getting this certificate in it i.e immigration to canada, ...now if the company went bankrupt then u need not worry, just make sure that if possible give ur current employer certificate for the remaining time period. also provide the current resume and if possible provide with business cards of both the employers with the certificates. it will make things more genuine and authentic.

Hi Nitma,

In order to get better suggestions, could you kindly elaborate if you have any evidence of your employment history with Lehman Brothers for your 1.5 years tenure?
As in Employment certificate, payslips etc?

If yes, You could send a notorized photocopies of that along with a cover letter mentioning the reason why you would not be able to produce the Reference letters with job description. (Even though Lehman's bankruptcy was sad, at least it was very public and hence your case would not be viewed suspiciously as almost everyone is aware of their fall)
Prepare your own cover letter- (mentioning the bankruptcy of lehman and explain that there is no physical entity of theirs present now to issue you the same.)

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Write a cover letter informing them that the businesss as gone into liquidation. Attach your appointment letter and job description preferrably signed by one of your previous supervisors when you were with the company. Also get the person to attach his present business card.
