Previous common law relationship - unknown info?

Hi there,

I'm working to sponsor my partner I was wondering what I should do if I don't have the complete information from an old common law relationship where I was the sponsored one. I could give a rough start and end date, but nothing exact. A lot of the physical information I had has been lost over time and several moves. I don't even remember my previous partner's birthday, and it wasn't an amicable break so I don't know how to get a hold of them nor if they would even talk to me.

Do I fill out my best guess and include a letter explaining? If it was so long ago, would it not be necessary to include it?

I forgot my previous partner's birthday too and made up one in the form.

Haha wouldn't it be better to put it in as ?????? rather than introduce conflicting information with a wrong date?
