Hi everyone,
I need clarification regarding the Preview Score tool in my Express Entry PR application.
My original CRS score when I received the ITA under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program was 472. At that time, I did not have any eligible Canadian work experience, and I am not trying to claim points for Canadian experience now.
However, when I use the Preview My Score tool inside my PR application, my CRS score has increased to 507. The system seems to be counting my Canadian work history as if I have completed 1 year of work, but I actually have only 11 months of Canadian experience:
My question is:
Why is the system automatically counting my Canadian work experience and increasing my CRS score, even though I do not meet the 12-month requirement and do not want to claim these points? Is this a system glitch? And how should I correctly reflect my work history so that my CRS matches the score in my ITA?

- I worked part-time during my studies from February 2024 to January 2025
- I started working full-time only from January 2025 until now (December 2025)
