I am presenting my evidence in two folders.
One folder is emails and phone bills and the other is testimonials, receits, plane tickets etc.
One folder with the emails is just going to be ring binded together.
The other folder is a larger folder with clear envelopes where I will put my A4 receits.

Will this be ok, or does all the evidence have to be loose?

People are always sending everything loose and bound with paper clips or binder clips.

I sent mine in folders with paperclips. 5 folders (4 really).
1. Cover Letter
2. Sponsor's Forms
3. Applicant's Forms
4. Proof of Relationship
5. Communication

I have pictures up in a couple threads. If you search the forum, you will find loads of information pertaining to your question. Good luck!

EDIT: Binders are not allowed.

Yeah, the applications and proof are not supposed to be in binders. Use paper clips to keep things together.

Don't use anything more than paperclips and/or elastic bands. Put the documents in the order indicated on the checklists (sponsor & applicant). When the visa office receives the file, they will discard all clips, folders, dividers, etc., put a hole in the upper left-hand corner of the paper and use a special clip to bind it all together for their processing. Sometimes that requires some pretty serious drilling based on how large the applications are. Pictures are kept loose as well as original documents that will be returned after processing (if any). Just don't use staples. They really hate that and you want them to like you! :)
