Prescription medicine that is not available in Canada

Hi there

I am currently living in Canada. Is it possible to order a certain medication from abroad and have it shipped to Canada? The medication requires a prescription in Canada. I am allergic to both brands that are available here (allergy against the non-active ingredients). I have a Canadian family doctor. I found a website that is shipping the medication but I am not sure about the legal aspects for Canada.
